Looking for something new to add to your house, yard or wardrobe or to buy for someone else, but don’t want to pay a lot? Then trot on over to Hand in hand thrift shop on Sandwich Road in Teaticket.

You can find clothes for all ages and family members, wooden furniture, home goods, like linens and napkins, all gently used and in good condition and more.

And if you find a book you like, or a CD, or a decorative dish that can set off your holiday table, your purchase will have a dual benefit. You will get a thing to enjoy or share, and the shop will use the money you spend to help the clients of the Falmouth Service Center, which runs the place with the help of volunteers.

The service center clientele come from the Falmouth/Mashpee area, so in a way, you are helping your neighbors by shopping there.
