Cotuit Center for the Arts, founded in 1993, has a mission to be the hub for all of Cape Cod’s artists. From its origins in a 1200-square-foot former mechanic’s garage, the center has grown into a true cultural centerpiece, partnering with local artists and driven by a dedicated staff and volunteers operating on a 7-acre campus in Cotuit.

Along with theatrical productions both large and small, the center hosts cabarets, musical tributes and concerts featuring both local and national performers. Other special events include performances by the burlesque troupe the Brazen Belles, the Kentucky Derby Gala, the annual Ukulele Fest and October’s Art and Souls Masquerade Ball. The center also performs family shows and original theater for children, featuring children.

Art in its many forms can be practiced, perfected and displayed, providing the community with a shining cultural light. More can be found on artsonthecape.org.
