Being bad feels pretty good at a beautiful brewery like Bad Martha Farmer’s Brewery and Taproom in East Falmouth. Since opening its doors in 2019, Bad Martha took off and didn’t look back, quickly becoming one of the hottest spots for ice-cold beer and snacks on the Upper Cape.
Bad Martha has it all: a large variety of locally brewed Bad Martha beer, homemade artisan pizza, charcuterie platters, soft pretzels and, of course, great merch. They brew their beers on-site using a 15-barrel brewing system, which allows them to serve guests at the brewery as well as making sure they can distribute product to stores.
You can grab your favorite brew by the glass or take home a 4-pack, crowler or growler. They also hand out free samples in case you want to try before you buy.
They have a rotating selection on tap, including their new line of hard seltzers, hoppy IPAs, summery blonde ales, smooth porters and robust stouts.
Add outdoor games, live music and sprawling lawns to the summertime magic at Bad Martha, and you have a recipe for success. But don’t be fooled because it’s no less popular in the winter—Bad Martha is open year-round and is known for hosting fun events such as live music, a weekly trivia night and fundraisers for local organizations, which keeps the taproom lively through all four seasons. After all, at Bad Martha, they believe in three things: great beer, getting bad and doing good.
