26 Elm Arch Way, Falmouth | 617.249.4462 | TommysPlace.org

Founded in 2018 by entrepreneur and visionary Tim O’Connell, Tommy’s Place is the fulfillment of a decades-old dream of providing a home away from home for kids fighting cancer.
In true “it takes a village” fashion, with the help of the local community, the Elm Arch Inn was purchased and restored to provide a dream vacation experience.
Opening its doors to its first families in July 2021, Tommy’s Place offers families a weeklong stay in a magical vacation house: a safe, private respite to relax, make memories and have fun during the most challenging time of their lives. The 11-bedroom house provides enough space for immediate and extended family as well as friends and caregivers who are part of the family support system. With locations in Falmouth and Centerville, families stay in one of these two vacation homes with individually designed and decorated rooms boasting elaborate murals and unexpected doorways. There’s a game room, board game room, home theater, tavern, music and arts and crafts rooms, and so much more. Outside is a basketball court, beach volleyball court, cornhole, horseshoes, giant chess and checkers, ping pong, outdoor TV, firepit and a 1951 fire truck!
Tommy’s Place relies 100 percent on the generosity of their amazing family of individual and business supporters, with a goal of maintaining their properties for generations to come so they may continue to provide once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to more than 100 families per year.
