For over a decade, the Falmouth Art Center has provided the Upper Cape with a place for artists and art lovers to come together and create, mingle and find community. Located in Falmouth at the corner of Gifford Street and Dillingham Avenue, the center is a haven where artists of all abilities and ages create, learn and grow.
The center was established by the Falmouth Art Guild and is home to three gallery spaces—the Hermann Gallery, the Sigel Gallery and the Landrau-Partan Gallery—where shows and exhibitions change monthly and community creators are invited to submit their work for exhibition.
The Falmouth Art Center has a robust curriculum of classes in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, fabric and weaving arts, and so much more. Some classes are offered online and others in person, making them accessible to everybody interested in honing their artistic skills.
It also offers special online and in-person workshops and talks, has its own book club, and hosts events such as fundraisers and openings for new exhibits.
With more than 600 members, the center continues to provide art and opportunities for creators across the Upper Cape.
